True Blues turning three.....

Yes, birthday celebrations were had on Friday. There was no cake (what a bad doggy Mom I am) but there was a present and treats to unwrap and eat. And lots of noise made, lots of fun had, and someone who sulked, so in most ways it was pretty much your regular birthday.

PB took this while Kathleen and I were shopping. This was the friendly shop where the MALE behind the counter actually knew his products and was helpful - unlike another shop where we got absolutely no help and PB was told not to take photos ---- in a scrapbooking store --- get real lady!!!!



And this is the highway on the road to the city!! At least we could get through the day we went. The previous day we would not have been able to!!

I do believe I promise some time ago to post holiday photos 'tomorrow'. Funny thing, tommorrow, never gets here, it's always going to be, the next day ...... well, perhaps that doesn't excuse me. So here is one:

How much BAD stuff ....

... can a good dog do in the five minutes it takes a human to go into the bathroom and clean their teeth. Well, Ruger sure tried it out this morning - resulting in an 'unscheduled mopping' of the kitchen floor. The thing I am thankful for is that it wasn't the bad dog gone bad! Who knows WHAT would have been chewed, puked or pooped all over the floor in that case. As it was, she (The Bad Dog) diligently did all doggie business outside, while today's villain just stood there and admired the scenery......

Wired Dare # 2

Well, I got home from work not two hours ago, took the photos about an hour and a half ago, and here it is - my LO for this week's Dare at No. 8 Wired . Not a masterpiece but OK.




Oh, and another "YOU DID WHAT!?" - I actually did use Basic Grey - so there you go Jan and Lucy!

Holiday news coming tomorrow!

We're all going on a summer holiday.

Yea, right.
It's that cold this winter here that we are staying in a cabin instead of our tent. Unusual for us. But then, we ARE going to the city scrap-shopping and not tramping or anything........

Just did not get my 'Virgin On .... ' layout done. Three days of teaching "challenging" adolescents stole all my mojo. Maybe when I get back.

In the meantime, here's a photo to ponder on.

You know who you are .... yes, you, you out there who knows what arrived in my mailbox and on my back doorstep today.

You can be sure that I truely truely appreciate your generosity and wish there was something as excellent that I could do in return .... but as I can't .... I'll play it forward you can be sure. After all, that's the 'circle of life' in the scrapping world.
